The problem

A complex store needs more than a general-purpose developer.

Your last developer didn’t understand your ERP

Orders land in WooCommerce but never make it to NetSuite or Acumatica cleanly. Bundles arrive as one line, inventory drifts, and someone on your team fixes it by hand every week.

Your wholesale customers can’t self-serve

Dealers and retailers still email in orders. Tiered pricing lives in a spreadsheet, the store locator is out of date, and the B2B channel that pays the bills runs outside the store.

Every plugin update is a gamble

No staging, no backup before updates, no documented procedure. When checkout broke last time, nobody could say which change did it or how to roll it back.

What we do

Development and integration first. Everything else supports it.

Nearly all of our delivered work is engineering. Here is what that covers.

WooCommerce Development & Integration

The core of the business. We build and maintain WooCommerce stores that have to talk to an ERP, a wholesale channel, or a dealer network, and we keep them running after launch.

  • ERP integration (NetSuite, Acumatica, SAP Business One)
  • Product configurators and quote requests
  • Wholesale and B2B portals
  • Store locators and dealer networks
  • Loyalty and subscription systems
  • Checkout diagnostics and repair
  • Migrations and re-platforming
  • Moving off Wix, Squarespace or a page builder onto WooCommerce

Data & Internal Tools

Integration gets data into the store. This gets it out and into the rest of the business.

  • Custom internal apps built on Woo and Shopify store data
  • Retention and win-back programs
  • Customer segmentation and cohort analysis
  • Automated client and account communication
  • Cross-store reporting and dashboards
  • Wholesale account health tracking

Ongoing Engineering

The cadence that keeps a complex store from breaking: documented, scheduled, with a named person on the other end.

  • Plugin lifecycle management with documented update SOPs
  • Security patching and access review
  • Email deliverability
  • Performance and caching
  • Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins

Paid media is not a headline service. For existing development clients we can coordinate Meta and Google Ads with the store work. Ask on the call.

Prototype Studio for made-to-spec parts.

A configurator for manufacturers whose products are specified, not picked off a shelf. Your customers design the part on screen, see it in 2D and 3D as they build it, save and share the design, then send a structured quote request instead of an email. Your team reviews it in WordPress with the drawing attached, and the finished spec comes formatted ready to paste into your ERP.

  • Visual configurator with live 2D and 3D preview
  • Customers save, share and reuse their designs
  • Structured quote requests, not a contact form
  • PDF spec sheet on your letterhead, drawn from the design
  • Staff review in WordPress, with the spec formatted for pasting into your ERP
  • Runs inside WordPress and WooCommerce, not a separate app

A configurator that turns a custom part into a structured quote request

Engineers design a custom wire part on screen, see it in 2D and 3D as they build it, and send a structured quote request instead of an email. Staff review it in WordPress with the drawing attached, and paste the spec into NetSuite.

  • Customers design the part themselves and watch it take shape as they go
  • Quote requests arrive complete, so nobody chases a customer for dimensions
  • Every request generates a spec sheet on the company's own letterhead
  • Specs land in a form staff can drop straight into NetSuite
  • Customers can save a configuration and send it to a colleague

Replacing a fragile store locator for 5,146 authorized retailers

The locator that sends customers to authorized salons ran on a Google Sheet that had to be synced by hand. We replaced it, linked every location to its WooCommerce wholesale account, and gave retailers a way to edit their own listing.

  • Retailers update their own listing, so staff stop fielding changes by email
  • Every edit is logged with a reason, so staff can see who changed what and when
  • Customers pick what they came for: buy in salon, book a service, or find a stylist
  • Each stylist's affiliate link sits on their own listing
  • Only locations tied to a real wholesale account appear, so the map cannot go stale
  • The retailer list is protected from scraping

Replacing paid plugins with code they own, across seven properties

Seven properties across two brands, all feeding one ERP. We replaced five paid plugins with lighter versions built for their sites, and built the publishing tools they could not buy off the shelf.

  • Five paid plugins replaced with lighter versions built for their sites
  • Annual renewals gone, including one plugin dropped over a critical security flaw
  • Staff kept the same screens and menus, so nothing needed relearning
  • A webinar library visitors can search by what was said out loud
  • Search results open on the exact slide where the phrase was spoken
  • Product pages built from their designer's files, and editable by their own team

How we work

You describe it. We prototype it. You click it before you pay for it.

Turning a half-formed idea into a working thing is the part clients keep mentioning. The process is built around it.

  1. Tell us what the store has to do

A 15-minute call. We ask about the systems around the store: ERP, wholesale accounts, dealers, fulfillment. Then we scope it.

  2. Click the prototype, then approve the estimate

Estimates ship with a live interactive prototype: the full page at desktop, tablet and phone widths, with the filters and buttons actually working. Fixed price, phased SOW, not-to-exceed cap.

  3. We build, ship and keep it running

QA on every deploy, a plain-English recap of every change, and a weekly or bi-weekly check-in with named next steps once you are live.

Prototype before you pay

Every estimate for a custom build comes with a working prototype you can open in a browser. Not a mockup image. Filters filter, states change, and the page works at desktop, tablet and phone widths. You approve what you have already clicked through.

Shopify or WooCommerce? We work on both, so we'll tell you honestly.

Shopify

  • You want hosting, security and checkout handled for you
  • You sell direct to consumers and want apps for subscriptions, bundles and reviews
  • Your team wants to run the store without a developer for every change
  • You are on WooCommerce and spending more time on upkeep than on selling

WooCommerce

  • Your store has to talk to an ERP, a wholesale channel or a dealer network
  • You need custom logic: configurators, quote requests, tiered B2B pricing
  • You want to own the code and host it where you choose
  • Your WordPress content and SEO are a big part of how you sell

Not sure? The audit tells you whether to stay, move, or fix what you have.

Meet the founder

Ivan Rodriguez, founder of I Fix Ecommerce

Ivan Rodriguez

Founder & Lead Engineer

I started I Fix Ecommerce after watching capable companies get handed WooCommerce stores that could not talk to the systems they actually run on. The store worked in a demo. It did not work with the ERP, the wholesale accounts or the dealer list.

Most of my work since has been that plumbing: NetSuite and Acumatica syncs, configurators for technical catalogs, store locators across thousands of retailers, and the checkout repairs that follow when someone else’s plugin update goes wrong.

When you work with I Fix Ecommerce you work with me. I am on the weekly call, I write the recap, and every deploy is QA tested before it touches your live store.

For agencies

Your client stays your client.

Marketing and design agencies bring us in for the engineering. You hold the engagement, we invoice you rather than your client, and access and decisions come through you.

You own the relationship

We work under your engagement and invoice you, not the business you are working for. We are not going to pitch your client on the work you already do for them.

Access and decisions come through you

Credentials, approvals and scope questions go to you. We do not go around you to your client to unblock ourselves.

We build what you designed

Your Figma or Adobe files built out faithfully. The decisions a flat comp leaves open get made and written down, and your design is not quietly reworked on the way to production.

Recaps you can forward

Every change written up in plain English, so you can send it straight to your client without translating it first.

Work also reaches us by referral from WooCommerce and CheckoutWC.
